He <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">may regret <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">the age difference<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">but <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">he <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">ompletely accepts <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">Shelley&#8217;s theory of the ideal woman<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">and how, during one&#8217;s life, this woman can <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">reappear in numerous guises.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">Hardy is not necessarily in love with the physical Gertrude but more with the essence of the <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">girl<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">&#8211; an essence that he has experienced many times (if sometimes fleetingly)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"left\"><a style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/diane.eklund.abolins.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/A1OUoo5y-fL._UX250_.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/diane.eklund.abolins.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/A1OUoo5y-fL._UX250_.jpg\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"253\" data-original-width=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: 'dejavu sans condensed' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">Florence, however, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">is too <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">focused on her wasted and miserable life <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\">to even begin to understand her husband&#8217;s fascination.
